CRAB Regatta @ Allsop Marina, Slip 7

This is the annual fundraiser for Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB).  Money goes to support sailboats with adaptive features that allow people with disabilities to sail – including recovering warriors, and a lot of underprivileged kids who would never get on a sailboat otherwise.  It’s a great cause. 

The CRAB is a pursuit race (which is always a fun format) and we always seem to do well.  The party isn’t cheap because it’s a fundraiser, but it’s one of the best parties every year, with a lot of folks outside our traditional regatta circles joining in the fun.  

We will have a Team Maggie fundraising page as well.  Contributions are not mandatory but if you want to chip in that will be truly appreciated.
